Frequently asked questions about services provided by SiteBuilderOne
A website re-design is finding outwhat is and what is not working with your existing website. Common answers with website re-designs include that the website does not reflect the business brand anymore, content is outdated, images need updating and the design of the website looks dated. By having an existing website, you have probably gathered feedback from your customers and clients about what work and what does not. The user experience may be cumbersome, navigation is hard or visitors simply get frustrated with trying to get information about your business. The benefit here is that you already have existing content on your website, which can be a great strating point for a website re-design.
Your website domain name is your internet address, or website URL, to the outside.
In most cases, this is what you would use to market and promote your website.
Without carefully managing your own domain names, one risks losing the domain name to someone else or worse, to a competitor. It has happened.
Manage your domain name registration wisely. Secure your password and limit sharing of your domain name registrar. We highly recommend all clients own and have access to their own domain names.

Domain names a pre-purchased yearly and can be purchased in varying pre-paid blocks such as 2, 5, 10 or more years.
Many domain name registrars will offer discounted hosting – you are not obligated to host with your registrar.
In most cases, it’s best to seperate your domain registrar from your web host.
Very common and depending on the domain name, may not be easy to procure if you are hoping to use the name.
A suggestion would be to explore alternate names or domain extensions (i.e., .ca for businesses in Canada).
There are 3rd party services that can assist with this, but there are no guarantees.
One option is to email the domain name owner to see if they would be willing to sell you their domain name. Some domain registrars can assist you with this process.
Many services online offer website hosting and email.
We at SiteBuilderOne believe it’s best to seperate the two entities.
